I did it, I did it....
I joined this Extreme fitness Boot Camp. Yeah, thanks to Suzy and her
ambitious explanations and excitement, I thought to myself, self, this would be
possibly be the kick in the a** that you need. So I found a retired
Military guy who owns an Extreme Fitness Boot Camp. And well, I
enlisted! It truly is the kick in the rear that I need. Its
funny though my mind doesn't know how out of shape i really am, my brain
still thinks like an athlete. So when deciding on which program to join,
there was no doubt I could do the 4 days/ week. After all its only an
hour a day, right? WRONG! Sooo wrong. Its freaking HARD! And
someone should have told my Brain, your not a kid anymore and clearly not in
the shape you used to be. lol...
Anyway, I am loving it - well as much as you can love exercising. Its an hour of intense all over body conditioning/toning, and cardio consisting of sports type drills. Sprints, jumps, sit ups, push ups, burpees (until class I never knew what they were), obstacle courses, and MORE!!! I have taken 3 classes so far, and only have 12 more to go.... yikes!

Ali, YOU ROCK!!! Great job. It is sooo hard and it kicks your butt, But girlfriend, it is great and leaves you feeling exhilarated!! Keep up the good work and you will see a huge difference in a short time. Don't forget to change your diet...break the habituations you had before...snacks at night, drinks, soda, etc... you know what I mean....whatever had it's grip on you! Increase your protein a LOT and try for only a little carbs after lunch. Let me know how you are doing. BTW, Aleve will do you wonders these first few weeks. Take it as necessary to relieve muscle pain and help you stay on top of your game. You rock girl...nice going!!! See you at Jo's soon!!
